Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York.
Specialty and shift

- Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Certifications required to start
- ACLS
- BCLS
- PALS
Preferred certifications
- CCRN
- TNCC
Experience and education
- 3+ years of ICU experience
- BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school
- RN license to practice in New York State or by reciprocity
Required skills and competencies
- Efficient in managing patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and use of Hemosphere Flotrac
- Efficient in managing trauma patients of different severities
- Perform assessment using CAM, CPOT, and RASS
- Efficient in the care of patients undergoing hypothermia treatment
- Familiar with the care of pleurevac chest tube drainage
- Must observe strict isolation precautions, hand washing, and gel in/gel out
- Must follow the SOP and critical care practice of St. Barnabas Hospital
- Familiar with the use of PCA pump
- Familiar with EPIC EMR
Additional requirements
- Must work every other weekend and holidays
- Requires de-escalation certification
- PALS can be provided post-offer
