Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,479 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adult patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care aligned with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult ICU patients
• Float as needed to other units
• Work up to every other weekend

Requirements

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent
• AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent
• Minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's degree in nursing

Preferred qualifications

• Two (2) years of Intensive Care Nursing experience
• Bachelor's degree in nursing

Schedule

• 12 hour night shifts
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Float as needed, up to every other weekend
