Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,434 per week
Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 14-week assignment in Rochester, Minnesota.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Qualifications
- Preferred CCRN certification
- TNCC, NIHSS certification
Essential Work Functions
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients
- Administer complex medications and treatments
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Maintain patient safety and comfort
- Document patient assessments and interventions
- Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Perform quality improvement initiatives
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking and service excellence
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/write in English
- Read/write/comprehend verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Move about, move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to concentrate to detail continuously

- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
