Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,340 per week

About the role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel nursing assignment in Woodruff, Wisconsin. The position is for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit RN, starting ASAP, with a duration of 13 weeks. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts as a travel employee. Woodruff is a small town in Wisconsin’s Northwoods surrounded by lakes and forests, offering abundant outdoor recreation. The facility operates a 10‑bed ICU/IMC unit alongside a 34‑bed Med/Surg unit, is part of a larger health system, and uses EPIC as its primary charting system.

Responsibilities

• Variable day and night shifts available
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to other units as needed, including possible float to Med/Surg
• Facility float to Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations (prescheduled)
• May be placed on low census and put on call; call‑back minimum is 2 hours
• Patient ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 1:3‑1:4 for IMC, 1:5‑1:6 for Med/Surg
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs acceptable

Requirements

• WI RN License
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• One travel assignment preferred but not required
• Must live outside a 50‑mile radius from the facility

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred

Skills

• EPIC charting experience (preferred)
• Ability to float to various units
• Flexibility with shifts, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties
• Capability to work in ICU/IMC and Med/Surg settings

Pay

• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,340
• $500 contract completion bonus
• Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
• Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined
