Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,314 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 6-week assignment in Berlin, Vermont.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Qualifications

• Preferred CCRN certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform quality improvement initiatives

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking and service excellence
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read/write in English
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer
• Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, lift up to 100 lbs, push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Mental requirements to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
