Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,310 per week
Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Alexandria, Louisiana. The role involves providing high-quality critical care in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar clinical environment, along with required certifications and licensure.
Job Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (Days)
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- One year of experience in critical care or related nursing specialty (preferred)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required
- ACLS certification from AHA required
- RN license in the state of employment or a current compact license
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- RN license as specified
Patients on Unit
DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators, among others.
Nurse to Patient Ratio
- 2:1 for ICU patients
- 4:1 for IMCU patients in the ICU
Weekend Requirement
Every other weekend.
On-Call Requirement
No call.
Floating Requirement / Locations
No floating.
