Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• First‑time traveler: acceptable for day shift; night shift prefers travel experience or several years’ experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficiency with EMR (Epic), IV pumps (Alaris), medication dispensing (Pyxis)

Patient Care & Responsibilities

• Caring for general ICU, stroke, sepsis, pneumonia, post‑surgical patients, and those requiring CRRT (no ECMO)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:2, up to 1:3 for step‑down level patients
• Perform general ICU skills: arterial lines, cardiac and other critical drips, ventilators, BiPAPs, tracheostomies, code response
• Potentially float to a holding area with ICU patients or to Kenosha if needed
• Weekend rotation: every third weekend (may be pulled off weekend for staffing needs)
• Shift times: 07:00‑19:00 or 19:00‑07:00
• No on‑call duties; holiday work every other holiday
• Time‑off: up to 2 shifts approved automatically, additional shifts require manager approval
