About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kearney, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Work in an ICU setting with 33 beds, average daily census of 16 patients.
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:2-3 for adults.
- Treat common diagnoses such as trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, adults sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress.
- Titrate drips including cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience in an ICU setting preferred.
- Current RN license in good standing.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of ICU experience preferred.
- Experience with critical care medications and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
