Job Details: Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurological Unit - Days Location: Bethesda, MD Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1820.20 - 1911.21 Schedule: Nights, 40-hours per week, 2 8's and 2 12's, weekends and holidays as needed Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly Requirements: Must have two years of acute care hospital nursing in medical surgical care as an RN. Strong experience in neuro and seizures required. Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care to patients in alcohol detoxification in an acute hospital setting. Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms to identify any complications. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient responses. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on detox processes and aftercare instructions.
