Travel nursing assignment in North Charleston, South Carolina for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN). 13-week contract, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care in a mixed ICU, working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, telemetry monitoring, and performing critical procedures in a specialized environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient care in a mixed ICU setting
Manage ventilated patients and interpret telemetry data
Perform advanced hemodynamic procedures
Adhere to unit-specific policies and procedures
Float to Emergency Department or Progressive Care Unit as needed to support patient care

Requirements

36 months of RN experience, with at least 12 months in an ICU setting
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
NIH Stroke Scale certification
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and ventilator management
BSN preferred
TNCC certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel nursing experience, especially in facilities using Meditech
Experience with CVICU procedures (CRRT, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz)
Experience with neuro procedures (EVDs, induced hypothermia)
Post-op cardiac and neuro procedure experience
