Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,184 per week

About the role

An ICU RN provides hands-on care for critically ill patients. The role requires assessing, planning, and implementing care strategies for patients with complex health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Document patient progress and communicate with family members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• Experience in critical care setting beneficial

Skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, nights, with a start date of August 4, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks.
