About the role
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position is based in Maywood, Illinois. This role involves providing critical care for patients in a specialized unit and requires a dedicated registered nurse to deliver high-level patient care during night shifts.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Start date: 08/10/2026
Responsibilities
- Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced assessment and intervention
- Adhere to hospital protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Float rotation may be required
Requirements
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience
- Illinois licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Located in Illinois or willing to commute to Maywood, IL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
