Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,165 per week

About the Role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a designated Intensive Care Unit, managing a diverse patient population including COVID-positive patients, with responsibilities adapted to an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level critical care to adult patients in a 20-bed ICU setting
• Care for patients with conditions such as post angioplasty, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and complex surgical cases
• Manage a patient population that is approximately 30-50% COVID-positive, with around 10 beds typically occupied by COVID patients

Qualifications

• Valid license to submit
• 2 years of clinical experience in Critical Care Nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Must include a copy of a valid, unexpired driver's license with submission

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Weekends as scheduled
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Willing to consider block scheduling, 36/48 or 48-hour contracts, and shorter assignments than 16 weeks

Additional Information

• Minimal floating outside of ICU
• Experience with EPIC EHR system preferred but not mandatory
