Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,160 per week
Job Summary
The role involves providing specialized patient care in a 12-bed ICU setting, managing critically ill patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, Sepsis, MI, DKA, COVID, and vented patients. The position requires adherence to established clinical protocols and requires flexibility to float to medical-surgical units when necessary.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois license
- Certifications including BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Able to read cardiac rhythm strips
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with titrating ICU drips such as paralytics, sedatives, and cardiovascular medications
Float
ICU travel RNs may float to medical-surgical units if needed.
