Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,118 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing assignment at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, a 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit. This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients, including septic patients and those requiring mechanical ventilation with hemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3, serving populations with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric conditions.
• Operate specialized equipment, including Alaris pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismaflex, and EV1000.
• Float to other inpatient areas during low census on the home unit.
• Adhere to facility policies, including an every-other-weekend commitment (Friday/Saturday nights) and navy scrubs dress code.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Active RN license and certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR (preferred).
• Experience with CRRT (preferred).

Orientation

• Report to 3 East in the Tower building on the first day (park in employee parking with yellow-lined spots).
• Complete first-day modules, Epic training (if needed), and one day of unit orientation.
