Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves providing critical care to patients in the ICU, operating life-support equipment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
• Preferred: CCRN certification, TNCC, NIHSS certification

Qualifications

• Strong critical care skills and advanced clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and a commitment to patient safety and ethics
• Ability to read/write in English, comprehend instructions, and use computers
• Physical abilities to remain stationary, move equipment, and assist with procedures
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with various personnel
• Mental requirements to cope with frequent public contact, deadlines, and continuous concentration
• Sensory abilities to see and communicate effectively

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
