About the role
The role involves providing care in an ICU setting, utilizing EPIC documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Care for critically ill patients
- Perform routine and emergency procedures
- Document patient care in EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- 2 years of RN experience, including ICU experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Current NIH certification preferred
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility
- Must not have worked at any Ochsner facility in the last year
Qualifications
- Must be able to work 36 hours per week
- Must be available for 12-hour shifts, nights
