About the role

24-bed mixed ICU/IMCU unit. Assignments typically broken down into CCU (2:1 patient ratio) or IMCU (3:1, 4:1 max if overflows). Tools include Epic EMR, Spacelabs bedside monitoring, and Alaris IV pumps.

Responsibilities

• Care of critical patients including but not limited to vents, trachs, titrating drips, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, various tubes and drains
• Experience with TTM, IAPB, and/or CRRT preferred but not required
• Care of IMCU/stepdown patients including but not limited to frequent monitoring of vital signs, chest tubes, various other tubes and drains, insulin drips, various cardiac drips

Patient Ratio: 2:1 in CCU, 3:1–4:1 max in IMCU
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (may be 3 shifts in a 4-week period if staffing allows)

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with ICU experience (1 year minimum)
• RN license (Compact accepted)
• ACLS-AHA (copy needed)
• BLS-AHA (copy needed)
• BSN
• 2 years of Critical Care experience
• SSN and DOB required
• 1 reference from entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of IMCU/Stepdown experience highly preferred

Skills

Pay

Pay Rate: $2032.00 - $2136.00 per week
