Requirements
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility
- Must not have been employed by any Ochsner facility within the past year
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred)
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting
- EPIC documentation experience
Certifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (12-month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute)
- Certification in clinical specialty area (preferred)
