Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit
• Perform complex procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Utilize critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to hospital-specific guidelines and policies
• Potential for float rotation as part of the staffing model

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIH (National Institutes of Health) certification
• At least 1 year of ICU experience
• Ability to perform procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Critical thinking skills and self-motivation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced monitoring equipment such as Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
