Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,010 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week assignment in Mequon, Wisconsin.

About the role

Provide specialized patient care on an acuity-adaptable unit during 12-hour night shifts. The position involves working with ICU/Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) and Medical/Surgical patients. Flexibility to float within the facility or to nearby sites within 40 miles is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and IMC settings.
• Manage complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and safety/infection control guidelines.
• Float to other units or nearby sites within 40 miles as needed.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU/IMC and Medical/Surgical settings.
• Experience on acuity-adaptable units.
• Willingness to float onsite or to sites within 40 miles.
• No artificial or acrylic nails; nails must be short (1/4 inch or less).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with ICU/IMC and Medical/Surgical patients on acuity-adaptable units.
• Ability to work independently in critical care settings.
• Strong clinical skills in managing complex patient cases.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/30/2026.
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
