AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Los Angeles, California. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising staff, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure patient care in a safe and healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe environment.
• Evaluates patient progress and identifies outcomes.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Provides health information and participates in discharge planning.
• Delegates tasks and coordinates duties of the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California.
• 2 years of ICU experience.
• Certifications: BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA.
• Work history with no more than 30 days of gaps.
• 1 reference within the last 12 months from an ICU setting.
• Cerner charting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.

Schedule

13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.
