Requirements
- ACLS / BLS / NIH
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias / Management of dysrhythmias
- Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR)
- Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention
- Sheath Removal
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for cardiac ICU patients with advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and TVP.
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and dysrhythmia data for cardiac patients.
- Manage patients pre- and post-cardiac procedures including catheterizations and interventions.
- Administer and monitor advanced cardiac therapies and invasive lines.
- Ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a step-down overflow setting.
