Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,940 per week

Job Summary

The role involves providing specialized care in a 20-bed combined ICU and step-down unit, caring for patients with severe respiratory failure, sepsis, hemodynamic instability, neurologic conditions, and other critical illnesses. The position requires adaptability for floating to a sister unit and participation in weekend and holiday rotation commitments.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• Degree in nursing
• Clinical experience in Intensive Care Unit or critical care setting
• At least 1 year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical ventilation
• Invasive monitoring
• Vasopressor management
• Advanced oxygen therapies

Additional Information

The role involves continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, management of invasive lines such as arterial lines, administration of titrated IV medications including vasopressors, sedatives, and insulin, and providing enteral or parenteral nutrition. The patient population includes individuals with complex conditions requiring frequent laboratory monitoring and intricate medication regimens.
