Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a minimum of one year of recent acute care ICU hospital experience.
• Valid certifications include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient populations, prior Meditech electronic medical record experience.

Additional Information

• The unit is equipped with cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps.
• Staff work collaboratively in a unit with 16 beds and a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:2.
• There is 24/7 physician coverage including intensivists, neuro-intensivists, and trauma surgeons.
