Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,811 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Seymour, Indiana.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Qualifications

• Preferred CCRN certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Document patient conditions and interventions
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform quality improvement initiatives

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking and service excellence
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read/write in English
• Read/write instructions, follow verbal instructions, proficient in PC skills
• Physical abilities: remain in stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public, work under close supervision, work without assistance, concentrate to detail
• Sensory: visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
