Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves providing critical care to patients in the ICU, operating life-support equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Requirements
- One year of recent ICU RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
- Preferred CCRN certification, TNCC, NIHSS certification
Qualifications
- Strong critical care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical abilities to move about, lift up to 50-100 lbs, and perform fine manipulation
- Mental requirements to cope with frequent public contact, work under close supervision, and continuous concentration to detail
Essential Work Functions
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients
- Administer complex medications and treatments
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
- Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives
