About the role
A house supervisor is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff at a hospital unit.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff to ensure patient care quality and safety
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist in the management of the unit, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Montana
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse
- Experience in a supervisory role preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Effective leadership and supervision skills
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
- Proficiency in computer systems used in healthcare settings
