Position Description
The House Supervisor Level 1 provides leadership and oversight of clinical and operational activities during assigned shifts, promoting patient safety, staff coordination, and compliance with health care standards.
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience
- BLS Certification is required prior to first shift.
- ACLS certification is required prior to first shift (CIRH only).
- Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience required.
Schedule
Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information
The House Supervisor Level 1 performs clinical assessments, supervises staff, manages patient safety, and facilitates communication among care teams. They are responsible for initiating discharge planning, delegating tasks, and participating in team-building activities to foster a positive and efficient environment. The role also involves ensuring cost-effective patient care and maintaining safety standards for both staff and patients. They are expected to pursue ongoing professional development and assume charge responsibilities following orientation.

Pay Package
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
