Travel Nurse RN - Float - $2,485 per week
Job Summary
The Med Surgical Float Nurse position is located in a healthcare facility in Chamberlain, South Dakota. This role involves providing float coverage between the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical Surgical (MS) units, requiring adaptability across departments. The position offers a diverse clinical experience, working with various patient populations in a dynamic acute care setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure to practice as a registered nurse
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the AHA
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 6 months recent experience in Medical Surgical and Emergency Room settings
Preferred Qualifications
- NRP certification on hand, which can be obtained onsite if necessary
- Experience working in a facility with a 25-bed unit and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3-4:1 depending on census and acuity

Pay Package
