Travel Nurse RN - Float - $1,925 per week

About the Role

The facility is seeking a Med Surg Float Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing position in Kirksville, Missouri. This role involves providing nursing care for inpatient rehabilitation patients, with the flexibility to supplement med-surg patients if volume dictates. The position offers a high level of flexibility to accommodate scheduling preferences and staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a 10-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:10 (swing patients only).
• May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume decreases.
• Float rotation may be required; mainly assigned to medical-surgical units but may float to other units based on competency and need.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:30 AM).
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• No stand-by call; may be placed on call if volume supports, but not exceeding 48 hours of call-off time per contract.
• Blocked scheduling requests may be accommodated.

Requirements

• Valid Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One or more years of nursing experience.
• Current nursing license.
• Relocation to the assigned location (Kirksville, Missouri).
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical units.
• Adaptability to floating assignments to different units based on competency.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
