About the role
Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab. Discipline: RN.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Perform patient assessments and develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications, including moderate sedation, safely according to facility policies.
- Perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring throughout procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant nursing experience required
- Previous EP Lab, Cath Lab, HVI, or interventional cardiology experience strongly preferred
- Experience with moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to recognize and manage cardiac arrhythmias
- Strong cardiac/procedural nursing skills.
Qualifications
- Education: BSN preferred
- Active Illinois RN License in good standing
- BLS – American Heart Association
- ACLS – American Heart Association
- PALS – American Heart Association

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 9 hours, nights
