Travel Nurse RN - Electrophysiology Lab - $2,685 per week

Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN position available in Rochester, New York. This role involves supporting cardiac ablations, device insertions, and electrophysiology procedures within a specialized EP laboratory setting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, assisting with complex procedures, and maintaining operational workflows in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Support cardiac ablations, device insertions, and electrophysiology procedures
• Ensure patient safety and assist with complex procedures
• Maintain operational workflows in the EP laboratory
• Operate specialized monitoring systems for ablation procedures
• Perform phlebotomy and IV placement
• Adhere to facility-specific policies and procedures
• Float as needed, with flexibility to rotate between assignments

Requirements

• Valid New York state RN license
• At least 2 years of experience in an EP Lab or related setting
• Certification in ACLS and BLS
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy and IV placement
• Ability to scrub and operate specialized monitoring systems for ablation procedures

Qualifications

• Experience with Micropace monitoring system for ablations (preferred)
• Previous charge nurse experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with Vascular Closure Systems such as Perclose or StarClose (preferred)

Schedule

• Day shifts, 10 hours per shift
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start date: 09/14/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
