Travel Nurse RN - Electrophysiology Lab - $2,569 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Electrophysiology Lab position in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The assignment is 26 weeks, 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively
• Assist physicians with procedures that diagnose and treat heart rhythm problems
• Assist with ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, cardioversions, loop recorder implants and more
• Assist with diagnostic studies such as cardiac mapping and EP studies
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds; patient handling may require lifting up to 50 pounds
• Possess good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• At least 1 year of experience in an EP Lab setting
• 2 years of experience in an EP Lab setting
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
