Responsibilities
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding oncology care
- Develop and implement educational programs for various patient populations
- Assess learning needs and tailor educational materials accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
- At least three years of recent experience as an Oncology Nurse Educator
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in good standing
- ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles
- Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and protocols
