About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients
- Administer intravenous medications
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Work shifts of 12 hours, nights
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- Strong IV skills - adults & pediatric
- Excellent communication skills
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & CP
- Preferred: Trauma experience, TNCC, Meditech experience
- Best personality fit: Team player, energetic, professional & respectful, ability to hold self & others accountable, patient-centered/focused, excellent attendance, ability to adapt quickly to change
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current CPN certification
