Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $3,270 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Lynchburg, Virginia, providing high-quality acute care in a Level 2 trauma emergency department. The role requires adherence to established protocols and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The assignment begins on 09/08/2026 and involves night shifts, with orientation occurring every other Monday.

Responsibilities

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 48 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Assignments end on Saturday
• Must work every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar-sized emergency department and trauma level 1 or 2 experience
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• Trauma certification such as ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses), TNCC, or ATLC (Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification)
• Active Virginia state or compact license required at time of submission
• Prior travel experience is required
• All requested time off must be submitted with the application packet at the time of submission

Additional Information

• Prior Cerner experience is strongly preferred
• Float rotation may be required is not applicable
• Locals within 60 miles are not accepted
• IVS to manager for approval
• Client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to the assignment start date due to census fluctuations
