About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. Shifts are 12 hours, available in days, evenings, and nights (11A-11P, 12P-12A, 3P-3A, 7P-7A). This is a travel position.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency and trauma nursing care in a level 2 trauma center
- Perform all procedures associated with a level 2 trauma center
- Deliver care for trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and triage patients
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency/Trauma nurse in a level 2 trauma center
- Current KS RN license
- ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications
- Preferred: CEN or TCRN certification
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage
