Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $3,034 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Wausau, Wisconsin. Start date: October 18, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 48 hours per week, 12‑hour rotating shifts. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support in a fast‑paced ED.
• Manage a ratio of 3–4 patients per RN.
• Care for cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory cases.
• Perform lab draws and administer nebulizer treatments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of travel experience (firm requirement).
• Level II trauma center experience.
• Active Wisconsin RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications.

Skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record.
• Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system.
• Familiarity with in‑house lab and respiratory therapy services; ED‑based X‑ray staff.
