Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $3,000 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse providing high-quality emergency care within a dynamic trauma center environment. The role requires skilled clinical judgment and the ability to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced setting. The facility is a Trauma Level 3 designated ER with separate triage and holding areas, 55 beds in the main ER, specialized zones for trauma and fast track, staffed with dedicated nurses, techs, and security personnel, and utilizes the EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent care for patients with conditions such as STEMI, Stroke, DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Respiratory Diseases, and Behavioral Health.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience.
• At least 1 year of trauma experience.
• Prior travel experience.
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
