Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,877 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lincoln, Nebraska. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 48 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, nights. Employment Type: Travel. We're looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Lincoln, NE. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Have experience and skill caring for patients in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for any allergies patients might have, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.
• Possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

• PALS certification
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience (additional 2 years noted in requirements)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Shift: 12 hours, nights; 48 hours per week.
