Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department nursing care
• Float required within scope of practice
• Work every other weekend required
• Work holiday shifts (must work either a major or minor of every holiday)
• Accept scheduling of 84 hours per two weeks (one week 3x12, next week 4x12)

Requirements

• 2+ years of current experience in specialty required
• AHA BLS & AHA ACLS, NIH, TNCC, PALS, CPI (or Avade) required
• KY or compact license required; active Compact or State License in hand required at time of submission
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• Must attach copy of unexpired driver's license; address must match permanent address
• Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of offer
• Travelers may only submit to one position at a time
• Travel pairs accepted minimally; pairs will not be on same shift or unit
• RTO: up to 7 days considered, must be presented upfront; no changes accepted
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Orientation is bi-weekly
• After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break from the system prior to being eligible to return
• Any license hits or background check issues must be submitted upfront

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 48 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights (19:00–7:30)
• Night shifts available as 3x12 or 4x12
• Start date: 08/31/2026
