Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care at a community hospital located in Greenfield, MA. This role involves working night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department, providing high-quality patient care in a unit with 23 beds including a psychiatric pod. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to support the clinical team and ensure patient safety and well-being.
Schedule
Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications
- At least 17 years of experience, with a minimum of 0 years specific to this role
Preferred Qualifications
- Four or more years of relevant emergency room nursing experience

The ER handles approximately 60-80 cases daily and maintains a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. The facility is a community hospital with a total of 23 beds, including a dedicated psychiatric unit, providing a distinct environment for emergency care delivery.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
