About the role
Travel nurse RN Emergency Department assignment in Middlebury, Vermont.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
- Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to urgent medical conditions.
- Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health status.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required depending on the position.
- Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
