About the role
The ER Nurse will provide high-quality, fast-paced care in a Level I Trauma Center environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity. This position offers an opportunity to work within a magnet and teaching hospital, requiring experienced professionals capable of handling critical situations.
The role involves interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, EPIC documentation, and Level I Trauma experience. The candidate will work in a high-volume, high-acuity department with a fast-paced environment, including behavioral health ED POD and rapid triage areas. The candidate should be experienced, positive, and capable of providing leadership in a critical care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care in a Level I Trauma Center
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Document using EPIC system
- Work in behavioral health ED POD and rapid triage areas
Requirements
- Valid licensure in the state of practice; pending license approval if applicable
- ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications
- Must pass Relias EKG exam
- 3 years of emergency room experience required, or 2-3 years of Level I Trauma Center experience with at least one travel assignment

- Days shift, 12-hour shifts
