This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy urgent care environment. The role requires multitasking across diverse clinical scenarios, including adult and pediatric care, with exposure to a wide range of emergency procedures and treatments. Job Details Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 08/24/2026. Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of emergency room experience, valid state license with a compact license, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with adult and pediatric emergency patients, experience with trauma level I or II, community hospital experience, and charting experience in Epic. Float: Float rotation may be required between different hospital campuses and sister facilities within the organization. Additional Information: The role involves managing ventilated patients, performing bedside procedures such as chest tube care, RSI, blood product administration, cardioversion, and using special equipment like rapid infusers and EKGs. Candidates must be open to working every other weekend and three of the five major holidays. All requests for time off or scheduling must be submitted upfront during the application process. Candidates are expected to have references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years, and must confirm if they have previous experience at a Providence-affiliated facility.
