About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Newport, Vermont. This is a 13-week assignment starting 08/31/2026, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. The shift is 12 hours, rotating, and may vary between mid-shift (11AM-11PM or 1PM-1AM), including every other weekend. The position guarantees 72 hours bi-weekly.
The facility is a 25-bed Critical Access hospital located in Newport, Vermont, near the Canadian border in the Northeast Kingdom. The area is known for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling. Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of emergency room experience.
- Active RN license.
- Willingness to embrace a travel assignment in a rural, outdoor-focused community.
