Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,498 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse - Emergency Room for a travel assignment with a top healthcare client in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Emergency Room registered nurses provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions, assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses, understand triage to prioritize injuries, and make quick, accurate assessments of patients’ physical and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Skills

• Emergency department nursing (triage, rapid assessment).
• Proficiency in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Ability to recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork in high‑acuity settings.
• Adaptability to night‑shift, 12‑hour rotations.
