Requirements

- Required Experience: Recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Telemetry competency
- Cardiac‑rhythm interpretation skills
- Strong emergency assessment, triage and prioritization abilities
- Ability to manage high‑acuity and rapidly changing patients
- Interview: Unit manager will call qualified candidates directly
- Weekends: Every third weekend
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Prioritize care based on patient acuity
- Develop, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
- Monitor telemetry and recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and emergency treatments
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Schedule
3 × 12‑hour shifts with rotating evenings and nights; every third weekend.
