• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically - medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Staffing description: Techs available - work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
• Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
• Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED
• Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit
